Located in the southeast of Quy Nhon, Ghenh Rang is a work by Mother Nature with a cluster of stones running along the seaside and undulating rock mountains, forming caves, dales with white sand on one side and the emerald sea of rustling waves on the other. These all helps create a pristine Ghenh Rang, a charming spectacular and romantic painting.
Along the curvy dirt road under the mountains, visitors can enjoy the sculptures that nature has granted Ghenh Rang. It is the unique beach with tons of peoples roundly molded by the waves, where is exclusively for Queen Nam Phương as her holiday retreat, and therefore, named Hoang Hau beach (Queen beach). It is Vong Phu Hill, which was sculpted by the waves and the sea breezes as a statue of a wife standing waiting for her husband home. There are a series of lion shaped stones firmly standing in the storm and time; and legendary yet beautiful Tien Sa beach.
Next to hillside is the resting place of poet Hàn Mặc Tử, a famous poet of Viet Nam. From here, visitors can grasp the whole eastern view of Quy Nhon City and open their view further to Phuong Mai Peninsula with the Thi Nai lagoon, which together poses an emotional painting.
King Bảo Đại had picked Ghenh Rang for royal holiday retreats since 1927.
